Product Manager, Wealth and Capital Markets


Job Summary

Broadridge is growing. We are seeking a Product Manager to focus on our Wealth and Capital Markets products to join our Newark, NJ office. In this role you will be part of the team that is responsible for the overall success of the purchase and sales, and options processing products. The group is centered on all activities that impact the product internally and are accountable in ensuring that the product meets the needs of the marketplace. You will be expected to thoroughly understand the product and provide client assistance to answer questions in addition to providing troubleshooting assistance for application and related issues. You will identify application related problems and know when to advance issues that impact the client's normal processing.


  • You will assist in developing business cases for new products /opportunity areas (as related to specific product/functional area)
  • Outline current and emerging challenges and risks to the product

  • Lead new product launches for specific product area, including
  • Creation of Sales Action Planner
  • You will work with Account Management to ensure they understand product and market segments
  • You will team with Finance to develop pricing
  • Communicate with Sales to ensure product is being presented to current and new prospects
  • Responsible for activities related to development and support of the products assigned
  • Know industry and competition specific to the product they are managing, able to vision new features/functionality and new products
  • Participate in diagnosing problems. Assists in following calls through to resolution. Participates in interactions with clients in a professional manner. Implements corrective actions and problem resolution. Informs clients of system improvements via various communication methods. Processes all client requests on a timely basis. Logs all client events into the Remedy System and updates all open items within 24 hours.
  • You will provide client support for assigned products. Gathers knowledge of Broadridge products, services and platforms, as well as the brokerage industry.
  • Ensure client/product issues are deeply researched, solutions are well-thought-out, and recommendations are provided to all appropriate parties. Effectively utilizes support tools (i.e., TSO, Remedy, TPA, SSR system, etc.) and applications to resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner. Adheres to all Product standard operating procedures.
  • You will assist in troubleshooting, analyzing and determining causes of various Broadridge problems. Tracks service issue to resolution, and advance when necessary.
  • Coordinate implementation of changes with internal departments & external parties & Client Testing/Client Signoff
  • Participates in providing internal & client application training as required. Assists in planning for and coordinating application Focus Group meetings
  • Provide off hours/weekend coverage as needed and is available 24x7 in case of emergency situations.
  • Assists in entering new requests for estimation by development. Process and work with BA Team to build requirements for client billable improvements
  • Testing -- assists in writing and executing test plans for simple improvements and coordinating with Quality Assurance. Assists in performing routine support to client application questions.
  • Become familiar with Broadridge organization to ensure appropriate support groups are aware of and can resolve problems
  • Participate in client visits/audits as required
  • Support client conversions including B1 reviews, mock support and training
  • Participate in bi-weekly Change Matrix Management meetings and in monitoring development change matrix. Participate in special projects and in inter-departmental assignments. Provide support for sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, presentations, demo's, & webinars.


  • 5+ years of broker dealer experience
  • Broadridge systems experience preferred
  • SME in purchase and sales, and options processing
  • Understanding Market and Client Dynamics
  • Adept at SDLC and meeting deliverables
  • Able to present to partners
  • Ability to prioritize and organize resources
  • Ability to establish and prioritize deadlines
  • Strong leadership abilities
