The Consultant, Sr, Contract Pricing CPD serves as the primary business liaison between Enterprise Wholesale Clients and Office Depot, focusing on the development and pursuit of new business opportunities. This position partners with Wholesale Client Sales Resources and Business Development Professionals to identify & close local, regional, and enterprise business opportunities. Additionally, the Sr Consultant Print Sales & Support Associates in the engagement & application of critical cross-company & cross-functional support activities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the Primary Contact/Liaison for assigned Wholesale Client Accounts. To ensure seamless communication, build strong client relationships, and address client needs efficiently, resulting in high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develops and applies custom and rate card pricing for all wholesale RFPs and project opportunities. To provide competitive and accurate pricing solutions that maximize profitability and support the successful acquisition of new business.
  • Manages key vendors and strategic partners in pursuit of wholesale business opportunities. To optimize resources, enhance service delivery, and drive successful outcomes for both Office Depot and its clients.
  • Manages account pipeline activities and the movement in SFDC through Discovery, Advising, Propose, and Execution stages. To maintain visibility and control over sales opportunities, ensuring timely progression and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Engages/coordinates opportunity assessments, solutions design personnel, and Service Delivery Team Members as needed to pursue, win, and onboard new business. To deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements and ensure a smooth transition from prospect to active client.
  • Partners with account set-up, credit, legal, A/R & AP to manage business activities pertaining to wholesale account maintenance. To ensure all operational, financial, and legal aspects of client accounts are managed accurately and efficiently, supporting long-term business success.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Finance or Business Management preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Pricing, Product Research of Financial Modeling
  • Smart Sheet, Power BI Certification, Lean Six Sigma Green or Higher (preferred, but not required)
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Experience with pricing and origination tools
  • SQL, Vendavo and Cognos experience
  • Strong analytical thinker and researcher with innovative ideas
  • Articulate and able to work at a high speed with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to organize and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to effectively influence at all levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and via e-mail (written)
  • Ability to present at all levels, executive presence
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based on data presented
  • Attention to detail and logistic expertise within process excellence
