Job Details:

Schedule: Sundays through Wednesdays

Hours: 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (minimum hours)

Job description:

• Weighing and reweighing grower tickets.
• Figuring weights for the farm and plant.
• Figuring weights on DOA's and Avg weight per trailer.
• Keeping up with trailers and trucks, number and delivery times.
• Knowledge of kill schedules and different types of trucks.
• Learning to check axle weight on trucks.
• Keeping accurate records of plant times down and running.
• Recording catcher and truck driver incidents.
• Calling growers to verify catch times.
• Looking up map locations of growers.
• Tracking mileage and fuel usage on equipment.
• Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Lifting 40+ lbs.
• Reaching with constant wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements.
• Pay: $17.00 hour.

Requirements:

Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.

Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
