Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Clothing Designer to join our design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion and strong trend awareness to contribute to the development of commercial, on-brand collections. You will assist in the end-to-end design process, from research and concept through to final product, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design team in creating seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with brand direction, market trends, and customer insights.
- Conduct trend research, mood boards, colour palettes, and inspiration packs.
- Assist in sketching designs using CAD (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop), creating detailed tech packs for suppliers.
- Help manage sample development, track progress, and ensure timely approvals.
- Liaise with Buying, Merchandising, and Technical teams to support product development.
- Attend fit sessions and provide design input on styling, fit, and detailing.
- Contribute to design presentations and support with the organisation of design boards and materials.
- Stay up-to-date with market competitors, compiling regular trend and comp shop reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 1–2 years of industry experience in fashion design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Ways of Working
- We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
- Our full-time working hours are 36.17 per week over 5-days. We don’t have strict working hours therefore there is some flexibility around start and finish times as long as you are meeting the needs of the business.
