Summary:
Administers Medical Staff’s program of Quality Improvement activities and serves as a liaison between Medical Staff, hospital and third party payers to provide clinical information to maximize reimbursement for services rendered. Through complete record review provides variance information to the peer review process for all departments.
Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
b. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

a. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
b. Ability to use independent judgment and access medical record documentation objectively and professionally.
c. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Medical Staff at all levels
d. Ability to integrate multiple job tasks and criteria in an organized and efficient manner.
e. Must maintain confidentiality of patient and physician information in all aspects of review activities.
f. Ability to effectively present statistical findings for review by medical staff, committees and administration.
g. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers.
