About the Role

As a Package Engineer, Optiflex, you will be part of an exciting transition where a specialized optical monitoring system is moving from the development stage into full-scale engineering and project delivery. This is a unique opportunity to join a technically advanced product journey and contribute to the delivery of tailor-made, high-performance solutions for offshore flexible pipe systems used by clients around the globe.

In this role, you will participate in the entire product lifecycle—from early design and technical specification through procurement, manufacturing, assembly, quality control, load-out, installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement. You will serve as a key point of contact during project execution, ensuring all aspects of the optical monitoring system design are opto/electro-mechanical integration, signal processing, data management, software configuration, and cybersecurity alignment.

You will collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, supply chain, and quality, while also interfacing with external stakeholders including suppliers, service providers, and clients. You’ll contribute both hands-on and through detailed documentation, specifications, and technical guidelines.

Given the nature of the product and its application in demanding offshore environments, you must demonstrate strong awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and quality assurance practices. Occasional offshore travel may be required.
