Job Summary
The Learning and Development Supervisor oversees the instructional design team, ensuring the creation and delivery of effective training programs and resources that meet organizational needs. Promotes and supports the professional development of internal teammates by establishing an environment that facilitates professional growth. Facilitates training programs that support the needs of assigned business unit(s).
Pay Range: Min $73,625 - Mid $95,713 - Max $117, 801
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
- Develop talent within the team by providing mentorship, coaching, and relevant development opportunities that complement individual career goals and organizational objectives.
- Foster an engaging team member experience that promotes collaboration and continuous learning within the learning and development team.
Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with L&D Leaders to assess and prioritize training needs and opportunities for the organization with appropriate stakeholders to drive performance improvement and align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand training needs, ensuring our learning and development solutions are effective and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure the success of projects by monitoring milestones and overseeing the overall implementation of initiatives.
- Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of training deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
Resource Management
- Plan, align, and prioritize work to meet organizational goals and commitments while efficiently managing time and resources.
- Ensures that Instructors have opportunities to become certified in various topics, facilitate various topics and maintain certifications.
- Assign projects and schedule work or training sessions to optimize team performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Training Delivery and Record Keeping
- Prepare for classes by reviewing materials prior to delivering instructor led training.
- Complete all pre-class requirements (rosters, applicable communications to participants, technology requirements, etc)
- Effectively facilitate a variety of instructor led training.
- Maintain related documentation/records (class folders, rosters, etc).
- Assist L&D Leadership in the creation of the data analytics summaries that are presented to clients on a quarterly basis.
Industry Trends & Best Practices
- Stay current on best practices and current trends within the Learning and Development profession.
- Share and promote best practices and current trends with respective teams to optimize performance.
Risk Management and Strategic Oversight
- Identify, assess, monitor, control, report, and mitigate risk in accordance with the Risk Governance Framework, in the context of specific accountabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and departmental procedures by consistently following established guidelines, protocols, and best practices to maintain operational efficiency.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions related to the delivery of training programs.
- Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to training program delivery, technological issues and program attendee experience.
- Responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
- Minimum experience required: 6+ Years (Add detail regarding type of experience required.)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Education, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent years of relevant professional-level experience.
- Experience using a Learning Management System
- Experience using eLearning software.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts of adult learning and training methodology
