Job Title: Senior Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to help build and expand our growing office in Raleigh. This role involves overseeing projects, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and leveraging your network for business development. As a team leader, you will help expand our presence in Raleigh while being supported by an established firm.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of architects and engineers in the completion of assigned projects.
• Coordinate all architectural documentation with outside consultants and other engineering disciplines, both internal and external.
• Ensure the quality and competence of the documents produced under your direction.
• Perform or supervise construction administrative duties, including shop drawing reviews, on-site reviews, field reports, RFI responses, and organize these files properly.
• Manage and mentor a growing team, fostering collaboration across disciplines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while leveraging your network to generate new business opportunities.
• Coordinate and collaborate with leadership in Chicago, IL, to contribute to the strategic growth of the office.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 15 years of project experience.
• Master’s degree in architecture or 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Architectural license.
• Experience and knowledge of building and zoning codes, and the permitting process.
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering systems, products, building materials, and specifications.
• Solid understanding of architectural design development, construction documents, codes, standards, and other disciplines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Industrial architectural experience is a plus.
• Registered and Licensed Architect.
• Knowledge of North Carolina State and IBC building and zoning codes and the permitting process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 annually.
