Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced leader to manage the ISC Digital Ecosystems Section Lead. This section consists of six teams across three areas supporting both the ICBM Systems Directorate and Sentinel Systems Program Office. Candidate should have a basic understanding of Contract Data Requirements List management, digital threads and twins, process improvement, and quality control. This candidate should have strong program management skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams in a high demanding environment.

Under the ICBM Systems Directorate, digital architecture and engineering teams will assist with ICBM data strategy development and digital engineering ecosystem architecture modeling

Within Sentinel, the section lead will manage three teams supporting the customer’s technical execution section. The process team maintains a document control database and conduct program process improvement events. The Business Intelligence team fosters a more data rich environment and assists Sentinel personnel to understand and quantify insights and decisions to improve their work. Finally, the Product Lifecycle Management team automates and streamlines product lifecycle processes while allowing enterprise personnel to make innovative product decisions.

Also, within Sentinel, the Configuration and Data Management team provides guidance to personnel executing hardware and software configuration management processes in the design, procurement, installation, and operation of products while ensuring requirements, development, and operational information remains consistent throughout the program life cycle. This successful candidate will have strong leadership in program management and the ability to work with cross functional teams.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 10+ years direct program management experience; 8+ years with a master's degree
  • Experience in Lean, Agile, and/or continuous process improvement methods
  • Lead cross-functional teams collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve enterprise objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and all required Special Program accesses

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Exceptional communications and customer engagement skills
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience
  • Understanding of project management best practices
  • Understanding of DoD/DOE acquisition and program management process
  • Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) training/equivalent experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
