Summary: The Senior Director, Territory Corporate Partnerships role is responsible for high-
impact corporate partnerships for organizational priorities by establishing and building long-term
relationships with philanthropic corporations capable of 6-figure+ investments as well as providing
strategic leadership and supervision to a team of Territory Corporate Partnerships Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Spearhead corporate partnerships in close collaboration with the regional teams and national cross functional teams, ensuring a deep understanding of emerging corporate trends and leveraging this HO Corporate Partnerships insight to cultivate and close meaningful, strategic partnerships.
- Lead the procurement of multi-million-dollar partnerships (minimum 6 figure asks), working alongside account teams to deliver customized corporate solutions and exceptional results.
- Exemplify exceptional external development leadership, consistently embodying the One LLS mindset and setting a standard of excellence for peers and key stakeholders.
- Provide high-level expertise across all corporate industries, to support both revenue generation and strategic partnership development in support of LLS campaign and mission funding needs.
- Build, nurture, and leverage relationships with cross functional teams with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, to identify and optimize value propositions for each corporate account, ultimately driving mission impact and sustainable revenue growth.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of key disciplines, including sales, marketing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), employee engagement/HR, and consumer initiative strategies to design and implement effective partnership strategies.
- Engage with external CEOs and senior leaders from various functions to explore mutually beneficial opportunities for collaboration, ensuring alignment with both corporate objectives and LLS goals.
- Provide continuous expertise, guidance, and support to regional teams, aiding in the development and execution of account strategies that deliver maximum value for both partners and LLS.
Philanthropic Corporate Revenue Generation
- Responsible for oversight of meeting/exceeding annually established corporate partnerships budgets through the effective engagement of corporate partners and management of Territory Corporate Partnerships Directors.
Corporate Philanthropic Strategies
- Lead Territory Corporate Partnerships Directors, Regional Corporate Partnerships Directors, Executive Directors (EDs), and Territory Vice Presidents (TVPs) to identify and engage highly philanthropic corporate prospects throughout the country who have been qualified to have the capacity to give at a minimum of 6+ figure range
- Manage and maintain sustained weekly activities with self-directed focus on impactful and personal touch points and meetings, integrating senior leadership and mission as appropriate
- Interacts with internal partners such as peers, territory leadership, mission, researchers, finance and other development staff to consult on transformative giving opportunities aligned with partner’s interests, to formulate strategies to promote partner engagement and to identify additional new prospects
Pipeline Management
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to identify, cultivate and engage prospects with strategic activities directed toward strategic giving and a meaningful LLS experience at the highest levels
- Communicate with local partners on partner identification activities to ensure transparency, coordinated approaches and maximized partner experience
- Develop and document strategic corporate cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for corporate partners utilizing CRM and other organizational tools
Staff Leadership
- Coach, mentor and lead Territory Corporate Partnerships Directors on strategic donor engagement, portfolio management, and corporate partnership closures
- Develop and maintain trust and rapport with Territory and National LLS leadership teams
- Develop and manage annual key performance indicators as measurements of qualitative and quantitative performance in targeted expected activity metrics
- Ensure deep and qualified prospect pipelines have been identified while leading and managing moves management plans for all prospects
- Serve as the main Corporate Partnerships lead for all campaign sponsorship benefits development, Corporate Partnerships cross functional internal trainings, and the lead for all internal campaign needs/requests of the Corporate Partnerships team
- Create unified cadence and agenda for the corporate partnerships team 1:1’s as well as weekly snapshot reports with region / business territory partners, ED/TVP’s,
- Develop and launch annual Corporate Partnerships KPI’s & Performance Goals in conjunction with VP and SVP of Corporate Partnerships
- Support Territory Corporate Partnerships team with weekly Fuel reports to identify red flags and needs for moves management, in conjunction with internal partners in Business Development.
- Prepare & Deliver Corporate Partnerships internal trainings which include quarterly team training calls, bi-weekly team calls
- Develop and lead all new hire corporate onboarding internal partners in Corporate Partnerships.
- Create standardized templates for Corporate Partnerships team’s goal setting/strategy sessions
- Manage, alongside VP and SVP of Corporate Partnerships, all LLS meetings coordination and logistics such as Adv/BD Annual Conference, Invitations for LLS events like Research Gathering, D2D Summit, and the Corporate Partner Summit. Etc.
Financial Oversight
- Accountable for annual Corporate Partnerships revenue with responsibility for four territories across the US. FY26 minimum budget of $2M-$3M per Territory.
- Assure a fiscally sound operation, including the timely, accurate and comprehensive development of contributions income and expense budgets, reporting, monitoring, and implementation.
Other Duties
- Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote Organizational initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of non-profit corporate partnership experience with a solid track record of interacting with the highest level of corporate leadership and closing significant partnerships
- Experience in leading a high performing corporate partnerships team and the ability to lead a team responsible for the execution of partnerships while delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience at the national level within the nonprofit industry
- Successful track record of collaborating in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to manage an annual portfolio of $12M+
- Experience in the daily use of a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Experience in negotiation and solution-oriented problem solving
- Excellent use of Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $131,000 to $200,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
