What you will be responsible for

As a Product Strategist you will be responsible for Front/Middle Office business engagement, understanding the customer’s needs vs our current capabilities and recommending solutions for development and implementation. This role is critical for business planning and management from the Alpha Services Product organization. A successful candidate must have a strategic mindset, ability to collaborate, articulate a vision/roadmap and clearly communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Assessment of Alpha product capabilities vs our key competitors
  • Commercialization of products and services (how to price, articulate value proposition, sales support)
  • Think outside the box in producing solutions that work on an end-to-end basis (Front, Middle, Back)
  • Drive penetration into all areas of the bank (CRD, SSGM, Alts etc)
  • Articulate the vision, design the solution, assist as necessary to implement the solution (bring to life)
  • Evaluate partner solutions (or acquisitions) that would help complement our product suite
  • Writing and presenting business cases that are supportable with appropriate financial (ROI) analysis
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
  • Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including front, middle, back office functions
  • Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Agile software development, Systems Thinking, and/or professional services is an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
