As a Packaging engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following.

• Responsible for packaging technical development, validation and implementation.
• Provides technical guidance in the various areas of packaging to the stockholders while assuring compliance to packaging quality and standards.

What you’ll do

• Packaging design and optimization: responsible for packaging structure design, includes new products, cost reduction projects and quality improvements on existing package.
• Packaging project development and management ‌: Manage complete packaging development process for multiple packaging initiatives including new packaging designs, changes, and process.
• Packaging Test and improvement ‌: Participate in packaging test and make improvements according to the test results to improve the reliability and durability of packaging.
• Document preparation and update ‌: Prepare the packaging structure file, and timely update the file and related data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information.
• Cross-function collaboration ‌: Work with Marketing, PMO, R&D, quality and other departments to solve problems in the packaging process and improve production efficiency.
• Cost saving ‌: Generate ideas and deliver cost savings every year.
• Process optimization: Initiating and implementing of process improvements.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Packaging design, industrial design, mechanical design and other related majors.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Packaging Engineering for Consumer electronics, home appliances, Industrial products or related industry.
• Good knowledge of packaging materials, printing and packaging manufacturing process.
• Strong team spirit, can infect the team members through their positive energy and positive actions, improve the overall vitality and cohesion of the team.
• Technical skills in packaging problem analysis and solving.
• Good communication skills, including fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Project management skill.
• Proficient in CAD, Adobe AI, office and other related drawing software.
