A Solution Expert is a trusted advisor who helps clients optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive digital transformation by leveraging strategic and technical expertise.

  • Guide clients through their digital and technological journey, analyzing requirements and designing innovative solutions.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for solution architecture across the entire client contract lifecycle (from business development to implementation and operations).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Assist business and IT leaders in defining digital strategies, roadmaps, and transformation plans.
  • Assess risks, benefits, and business cases to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trusted Advisor: Recognized as a functional and technology expert on Orange Business products, services, and solutions.
  • Innovation Leadership: Work with customers to understand their innovation requirements, identify opportunities, and provide solution leadership and quality management in collaboration with the Solution Lead.
  • Strategic Deal Support:
  • Assist in shaping deals by capturing and translating customer needs into tailored solutions.
  • Support Solution Leads in aligning internal technology solutions.
  • Position Orange as a preferred vendor to influence or preempt RFPs/RFIs.
  • Agile Transformation Consulting: Guide organizations in adopting Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to enhance flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Training & Change Management: Provide guidance and training to customers, partners, and internal teams to facilitate adoption of new technologies and processes.

Solution Development & Delivery:

  • Ability to analyze customer objectives and create structured, high-quality solutions within deadlines.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, effectively engaging customers and internal teams.
  • Capable of leading a virtual solution team and working in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Ability to visualize, simplify, and articulate complex technical and business solutions.
  • Experience in process development, optimization, and industrialization.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of Digital Infrastructure Strategic Value Proposition (DI SVP), including solution blueprints and technology trends.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in digital and telecommunications products, processes, and tools.
  • Familiarity with market technology evolutions and trends in telecom and IT.

Business Acumen & Strategy:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand financial and legal concepts.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, technical, and business challenges in the communication industry.
  • Ability to integrate project work with Knowledge Management concepts and principles.
  • Experience in business development and sales, positioning solutions to customer needs.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Client-focused with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to innovate, drive process improvements, and optimize workflows.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and across different cultures.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in solution development.

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Certifications from leading vendors in connectivity (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
  • Desirable: Cybersecurity certifications, Cloud certifications (e.g., GCP).
  • Senior Solution Expert: 6–10 years of industry experience.
  • Proven track record in building client relationships, solution positioning, and delivering conceptual/technical architectures aligned to customer needs.
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams within an international environment.

  • Base salary from 2 410 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience. Please mind that the salary is only relevant for Slovakia Location.
