General Summary:

The job is responsible for the overall sales performance in Korea. He/she will develop retail & wholesale business strategy to drive sustainable sales growth and sales excellence aligned with brand direction, build a high-performing team embedded with compete-to-win culture, meanwhile elevating our consumer experience to amplify our brand messages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales of products in Korea and for the development and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets.
  • Develops and maintains strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships. Provides ongoing support to high value clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service
  • Explore and maximize the commercial opportunities to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the business including revenue generation, cost containment and resource optimization.
  • Leverage metrics and operational indicators to measure, motivate and enhance performance
  • Develop and nurture a high-performing team to support sales and drive year on year performance improvement.
  • Responsible for developing, introducing and implementing business processes to ensure a consistent level of performance in Columbia stores.
  • Manage successful relationships with other Depts, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement, to maximize the service to stores and increase productivity.
  • Play a key contributor role to the Go-to-Market (GTM) process and Omni-channel strategy.
  • Act as a “policy maker” for better inventory utilization in an omni-channel model to maximize total revenues and minimize negative impact to key stores/channels/accounts.
  • Responsible for retail training program for its design, execution, and measure of effectiveness making sure the training is aligned with sales strategies to deliver the right message to the store managers.
  • Responsible for comprehensive retail information analysis for the company to drive better business decisions.

Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years hands on/proven record of successful senior sales operations (head of retail & wholes) leadership experience in the company with similar business size/size of organization he/she will manage.
  • Demonstrated strength in leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision and to motivate teams to achieve goals
  • Proven record of savvy business judgment along with the mental agility, curiosity and flexibility required in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with cross functional partners.
  • Established ability to lead in a collaborative style as well as communicate in an engaging and impactful manner
  • Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion including inviting diverse perspectives and thinking styles, fostering and inclusive environment and supporting workforce diversity
  • Proven ability to create and translate strategies into specific priorities, objectives and action plans
  • Understanding working process of merchandising, production, warehousing & retail sales
  • A bachelor degree in related field. Higher degree such as MBA is preferred.
  • Good command of Both written and spoken English.
