What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Product Analyst to support the day-to-day management of the suite of products under Individual Insurance Products, with a focus on Wealth Insurance. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of investment products, particularly as it relates to wealth insurance and will work closely with senior product managers and cross functional partners. This candidate is looking for the opportunity to develop product management expertise with a leading Canadian financial institution.

What will you do?

• Support product managers with day to day management, maintenance and oversight of our suite of products
• Assist with preparing and analyzing product performance and support regular reporting for internal stakeholders
• Help develop and maintain internal product processes and databases to ensure sound practice management
• Collaborate with cross functional partners such as marketing, sales and operations on product related initiatives and campaigns
• Support the update of product material, client communication and advisor resources
• Assist in reviewing product disclosures, fund facts and regulatory filings ensuring all materials comply with current regulatory requirements

What will you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the financial services sector, ideally in insurance or product management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under tight deadlines
• Strong MS Office Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word
• Excellent analytical skills, accuracy and detail-oriented
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-have:

• CSC or IFIC course would be an asset
• University degree preferred
