TEKsystems is currently seeking a Project Manager with ERP experience for a long-term contract with the potential to convert permanently located in Anchorage, AK.

Summary:

Project Manager for our Cognos reporting project, this candidate needs to be onsite. This project will require strong analytical skills, the ability to lead a hybrid team and clearly and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the company. It has frequent scope changes as reports are identified, or new reports are requested by stakeholders and dependencies with our Cayenta implementation. Prior experience implementing a BI solution would be extremely helpful, especially if it was from legacy reporting solutions like Crystal. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager to lead a complex reporting and analytics initiative. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a track record of managing hybrid teams, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a BI project with evolving scope and multiple dependencies, including integration with our Cayenta system.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders, executives, and team members.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize incoming report requests, and scope changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, define reporting needs, and drive development timelines.
• Ensure smooth migration from legacy reporting solutions such as Crystal Reports to a modern BI platform.
• Identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate appropriately to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain detailed documentation on scope, change requests, timelines, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading Business Intelligence or data analytics implementation projects.
• Prior experience transitioning from legacy reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports) to modern BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data-driven projects.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to manage changing project scopes and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with utility or ERP systems (experience with Cayenta is a plus).
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in utilities or municipal systems environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
