Hourly Rate: $28.96 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Base Lead Matrix & Mixing to join our 2nd shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Schedule:

2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:00pm - 10:30pm | You will need to be available for possible weekend work

Starting Pay:

$28.96/hour + $1/hour shift differential | Your wage will increase over time!

Essential duties:

• Must follow all GMP's for producing quality product.
• Can understand production schedule.
• Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules.
• Assist operators with minor change-over aspects.
• Will perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
• Can navigate SAP.
• Must know and understand FEFO. V-Mag tagging system.
• Can assemble and operate high speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, and Runner.
• Can assist the Operators in all responsibilities such as troubleshooting machine faults, loading of materials, checking code dates.
• Responsible for recording of specific information online check forms and tool reconciliation forms.
• Follow Quality Assurance standards and Infinity - computerized weight control.
• Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Lead must perform all above and below duties:

• Communicate with your peers.
• Follow and interpret SOP or SMS.
• Must be focused and proactive.
• Monitor and adjust machines to meet product specs.

Experience:

• Any previous manufacturing experience.
• Complete basic math computation.
• Understanding of weights and measurements.
• Follow English oral and written instructions, short correspondences, and memos.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
