JOB OBJECTIVE: The Quality Specialist will play a key role in maintenance and continual improvement efforts for our global Quality Management System. This role will support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing, engineering, service, and software operations. This role ensures our products, processes, and services consistently meet or exceed internal standards and customer expectations, with a strong focus on compliance, reliability, and operational excellence.

CORE DUTIES:

1. QMS Ownership & Maintenance

  • Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Serve as the ComplianceQuest system expert and maintain system updates.
  • Support and prepare for internal and external audits.
  • Conduct internal audits when needed.
  • Support documentation updates and controlled document training.
  • Support Complaint and Change Action Request investigation and resolution processes.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, generating regular reports to track KPIs and identify trends.
  • Identify and develop continuous improvement initiatives to push our Quality Management System forward.

2. Training & Onboarding

  • Support QMS onboarding for new hires related to quality systems and procedures.
  • Roll out and train the organization on new functionality and features from ComplianceQuest.
  • Plan and participate in Qualtiy and Compliance educational activites throughout the year, including National Quality and Compliance Week.

3. Support a culture of Quality and Compliance by building relationships, acting in line with our Quality and Compliance philosophy, and being a subject matter expert for the organization. Embrace being an internal resource for the whole organization.

6. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2+ years of experience in quality systems in a manufacturing environment.

2. Hands-on experience with SalesForce.

3. Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, or similar quality standards.

4. Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

5. Excellent communication, organization, and training skills.

6. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
