CTG is seeking to fill a Workstation Technician opening for our client in Jacksonville, FL.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $25/hr

Duties:

  • Perform break/fix operations in a hospital environment.
  • Collaborate with Workstation Support Services units to receive, configure, schedule, and install hardware and software.
  • Ensure equipment is labeled and configured per specifications.
  • Research and document device specifications in alignment with purchase orders and organizational standards.
  • Relocate equipment as requested by departments.
  • Provide on-site installation, technical support, and customer service independently.
  • Act as a technical liaison with other support services such as Help Desk, Applications, and Materials Management.
  • Assist with end-user training and explain concepts such as hardware/software requirements and implications of service changes.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of equipment and supplies necessary for installations and repairs.
  • Ensure adherence to IT Security policies when evaluating and processing equipment.
  • Work may require overtime and participation in an on-call rotation.

Skills:

  • Proficient in ServiceNow and knowledgeable in Epic.
  • Hands-on experience with hand scanners, e-signature pads, tap–n–go systems, Zebra and HP printers, iPhones, and iPads.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Familiarity with IT terminology (e.g., CPU, Networking, LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with ticket tracking systems for documenting operations.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, lift up to 75 pounds, and work with arms above shoulder level.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Preferred: two (2) years of experience supporting computers, or an associate degree, or completion of a two-year technical program in Computers, Technology, or Electronics.

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent technical training.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Valid driver’s license.
