Manchester, NH

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's Graduate Education Program is looking for on-location Adjunct Instructors for the Clinical M. Ed. Special Education program. Courses will offered during afterschool weekday hours and you will report to our Assistant Dean of Graduate Education Programs.. At this time, we are looking for individuals who have a special interest in the following areas of education:

SPED 581: Assessment in Special Education

SPED 680C: IEP Development

What you'll do:

  • Teach courses as scheduled
  • Access student work and provide timely feedback
  • Use the program's online Learning Management System, Brightspace, to support the course

What we're looking for:

  • Master's degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, or a related field
  • 3+ years of teaching experience with K-12 special education
  • 1+ years of teaching experience with adult learners
  • Special Education K-12 license
  • Elementary Education license
  • Experienced Educator license
  • LETRS training completed
  • Current teacher and mentor in a SNHU Partner School:
    • Northwest, Gossler Park Beech Street, or McDonough Elementary Schools

Compensation

The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
