The Opportunity:

  • Ready for a challenge and the chance to grow? KPMG seeks professionals to support regulatory compliance and risk frameworks. Dive into acronyms like CCCFA, FSLAA, Privacy, COFI, and AML. Bring expertise in interpreting legislation or driving compliance change, with strong communication skills.
  • You will join a small team that collaborates across KPMG's consulting business, providing regulatory compliance support. If you enjoy variety and are eager to learn, this role is for you. Every day will be different as you work with diverse clients and industries, interacting with senior executives to share our expertise.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on regulatory change, compliance transformation, and risk management.
  • Advise clients on the impact of evolving regulations on their business models, products, and markets.
  • Design and implement practical, proportionate, and best-practice risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee governance structures, and controls across the product lifecycle.
  • Manage client relationships, project teams, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development through thought leadership, proposals, and market engagement.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 6+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or regulatory role, preferably from consulting or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of core regulations and risk management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial acumen and a track record of identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
  • A law degree or relevant financial services qualification is advantageous.
