Provider Solutions within McKesson’s US Pharmaceutical (USP) Segment is seeking to accelerate the impact and outcomes of our businesses by bringing on a Business Intelligence Analyst.

The Provider Strategy and Operations team is an internal advisory organization that supports business partners with functional and go-to-market leadership to pull through our strategic imperatives of growth, optimization and innovation across BU programs.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play key role in the analysis, interpretation and transformation of broad data sets into meaningful and impactful data tools, while also bringing forward new solutions and programs to the business. Partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders and business leaders, you will be responsible for driving outcomes and the creation of value to both MCK and our customers through the successful execution of the programs you lead.

Specifically, this role will gather and analyze information to formulate data driven actionable recommendations, deep market, financial and customer data insights and sustainable insight reporting packages. The role will also serve as the subject matter expert and asset owners of many of our digital solutions including PowerBI data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
  • Maintains digital assets and solutions across the business unit including Alteryx, Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Uses Structured Query Language (SQL) to gather and assess data from the reporting database, transactional database, operational data store, and external systems to assist internal and external leadership in decision making.
  • Translates complex data insights across customer, financial, market and business trends into meaningful business strategies and recommendations.
  • Support and executes large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and help coordinate strategic discussions with senior leaders.
  • Develop and share content for presentations and reports, as well as supporting analytics, for senior leaders.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
  • Apply program rigor and statistical rigor to projects to create defensible and insights recommendations in an imperfect data landscape.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate reporting processes.
  • Stay abreast of evolving best practices and trends in the use of data analytics

Minimum Requirement,

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, business, finance, technology, or related field

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including but not limited to data analysis, business intelligence, or portfolio analytics
  • Business Financial Acumen: understanding of financial modeling and experience with financial planning, business process and SG&A functions (e.g., HR, Finance, IT)
  • Technical Capabilities: Strong usage of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization applications such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Advanced Power BI expertise, including data modeling, DAX, and development of impactful data visualizations tailored for executive and operational audiences
  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake for scalable data processing, pipeline development, and advanced analytics use cases

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
  • Superior project management skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project
  • Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required

Salary: 110,300.00 - 147,000.00 - 183,800.00 USD Annual (15% MIP)
