Prestigious international Law Firm, known for its collaborative and professional atmosphere, is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Coordinator for it's New York headquarters. The position will play an integral role supporting the firm's training, professional development and continuing education initiatives. The position requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and experience in a law firm setting. The position is hybrid, requiring 3+ days in-office attendance at the Firm's New York headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning & Development Strategy:
  • Evaluate firm-wide training needs through stakeholder engagement and data analysis.
  • Assist in creating and executing a strategic learning and development plan aligned with firm goals.

Program Planning & Execution:

Plan, coordinate, and deliver quarterly and annual training programs for attorneys and staff.

Collaborate with vendors, CLE coordinators, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and accreditation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build strong relationships with internal departments including Professional Development, Marketing, and Business Development.

Partner with practice groups and administrative leaders to tailor programming to specific needs.

Content Development & Communication:

Support the creation of training content and internal communication strategies to promote learning initiatives.

Help position the firm’s learning brand internally and externally.

Assessment & Continuous Improvement:

Track and analyze training metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.

Adjust offerings based on evolving needs and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development or professional development, ideally in a law firm or similar professional setting.
  • Strong ownership of initiatives from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and diverse legal professionals.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large law firms and coordinating legal training programs.
  • A law degree is a plus.

Compensation: $105,000 - 115,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
