The Sr Manager, E&PS Acquisitions & Divestitures is accountable for managing and tracking the progress of the project execution and risk management. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that the playbooks are up to date based on lessons learned and standard methodologies.

This role is responsible for leading the E&PS A&D project executions for all regions and segments. This includes understanding the end-to-end E&PS A&D model and leading its deployment on each deal. Key to these responsibilities will be to implement the framework, processes, tools/templates, and own the value delivery, providing A&D leadership, mentorship, and council to the regional project DRIs, individual integration teams, and oversee implementation deliverables, as appropriate.

A suitable candidate will have strategy development and strong project management experience across the organization, with measurable, financial, quality and cycle time results.

Key partnerships include Real Estate, Project Delivery, Engineering & Design, and Facilities Management in all regions as well as EHS, IT, Risk functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain E&PS A&D Model: Framework, Processes, and Tools/templates for Acquisitions and Divestitures activities across all E&PS functions
  • Lead continuous improvement of the A&D processes
  • Support A&D deal teams for all A&D deals, globally. This may include early phase project team involvement and building cross-functional relationship within the A&D community
  • Coach and mentor the Project Directly Responsible individuals (DRIs) in the delivery of integration and/or separation plans
  • Support deal modelling, due diligence, integration planning and execution as appropriate.
  • Lead Integration or Separation performance reporting. Identify Priorities, Progress and Risks associated with Value Creators, Risk Mitigations and End State Operating Model for Integrations and Separations
  • Conduct Lessons-learned and identify standard methodologies for continuous improvement
  • Maintain E&PS A&D Portal and tools with latest thinking and templates
  • Participate on other stages of Business Development opportunities as the need arises by various A&D leads
  • Participate on Enterprise A&D initiatives as needed in order to advance the Enterprise’s capabilities for A&D Execution

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Graduate degree/studies in related discipline/ MBA preferred

Experience and skills

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience
  • Global leadership experience, leading multi-functional teams in a global, inclusive environment
  • Strong program management skills, validated organization, coordination, and action tracking skills
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with challenging priorities
  • Proven capacity for problem solving & strategic thinking
  • Experience leading long term projects including remote teams (regionally) from multiple disciplines
  • Experience building strategic relationships with internal and external project partners and customers
  • Experience leading complex workstreams, specifically across geographically dispersed teams and matrixed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and relationship building skills including influencing and negotiation
  • Ability to lead budgets, understand financials and drive savings where appropriate
  • Ability to adapt emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations
  • Ability to coach and mentor project leads through program lifecycle

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in the related fields such as operations, CRE, facilities management, project management, business, or other relatable fields
  • Multi-sector experience
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end E&PS processes
  • Experience in Facility or Real Estate management
  • Six sigma Certification
  • Project Management methodology – i.e. FPX certified
  • Presentation skills

  • This position may require up to a 25% of domestic and/or international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$120,000 to $207,000. In the Bay Area, the anticipated base salary is $138,000 to $238,050

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
