Job Description: We’re partnering with a fast-growing reinsurance start-up undergoing a critical phase of expansion. With operations in Bermuda, Japan, and the U.S., and plans to establish a U.S. legal entity by year-end, this is a rare opportunity to join an emerging industry player at a pivotal time.

The company is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead and scale HR operations across its global footprint. This role will play a key part in supporting the company through its next growth phase and will ultimately hire and mentor their successor. The position oversees HR functions for approximately 75 employees and is central to establishing the HR infrastructure, particularly as the U.S. business—focused on pension risk transfer—comes online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic HR lead across Bermuda, Japan, and the U.S.
  • Build foundational HR infrastructure, including policies, systems, and compliance practices
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational design, talent planning, and scaling efforts
  • Guide cultural integration across international offices
  • Oversee the setup of HR operations for the new U.S. legal entity
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives and team leads on all people-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction
