What you’ll do
As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting:
- Structure and execute analysis involving our clients’ most complex and ambiguous challenges (working closely with our VPs and SVPs on client projects and supporting them by designing and building quality models, drafting PowerPoint presentations, and performing financial and operational analysis).
- Translate analysis into tangible implementation plans and performance commitments (building insights into value creation areas, collaborating with engagement team and stakeholders, building relationships to influence and provide advice to key decision-makers)
- Utilize AlixPartners proprietary tools to analyse data and derive actionable insights (such as our leading-edge tools for revenue growth, spend analysis, and organizational transformation). Conduct research using external tools and databases (including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Statista, and Euromonitor), and use interactive data visualization tools (such as Tableau and Power BI) to present results in a compelling manner.
- Support practice development, marketing & pitches, and account management.

What you’ll need
- 2 - 4 years of business consulting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must
- Hands-on operational mindset is required
- Analytical, capable of developing and managing related analytics, reports and metrics
- High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast paced environment
- Independently structures problem solving approaches and adapts quickly to changing direction
- Innovative with the development of new tools, methodologies and approaches
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Builds counselling relationships with clients and peers
- Works effectively with others. Capable of ‘flexing’ between big picture strategy and detailed focus
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel applications
- Openness for occasional travel
- Bachelor's degree with evidence of strong academic success. Degree(s) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or another quantitative field is preferred. Master’s/ MBA degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
