YOUR IMPACT
The Principal Product Manager is responsible for assisting in the execution of the complete product lifecycle for selected product lines.
This includes developing project plans, running product review meetings, developing product literature, and conducting competitive research.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
- Documenting product requirements and scheduling requirement reviews with internal stakeholders.
- Development projects plans by working with cross-functional teams associated with the planning, development and launch of new products and releases.
- Developing presentations for internal product status review meetings.
- Representing Product Management in Development story workshops.
- Conducting competitive research and developing competitive profiles.
- Support the development of sales tools and product literature as needed.
- Manages all aspects of the product life cycle, working with engineering, marketing, sales, partners, and support.
- Prioritize product requirements and defects and work with product stakeholders to define the product strategy and roadmap.
- Creating and influencing the stakeholders to get alignment on the roadmap.
- Managing multiple similar products
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 15+ years of experience in software product management and/or project management.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent area.
- Strong business/financial skills and hands-on experience interacting with customers and channel partners
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Proven experience driving numerous parallel initiatives
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- BTech/BS /BE degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
