We have 3 exciting Business Development Manager opportunities available – 1 x 12-month Fixed term contract and 2 x permanent. All are full-time. We can be flexible on the location of these roles, but you will need to travel to locations across England, Wales & NI as and when required.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development and working in partnership with Mencap’s Regional and Area Operations Managers, you will lead the development of new services for our Personal Support (care) services to people with a learning disability across the locations stated.
As well as working with business partners to achieve an effective and cohesive approach to service delivery and development, you will be part of a team that develops and delivers the business development strategy. You will work closely with our bid team to deliver growth through competitive tenders, and support colleagues to achieve organic growth, and housing providers to secure high-quality accommodation where we can provide services for people with complex needs.
You will be driven with the tenacity and passion to succeed. You will have the ability to collaborate with people at all levels of the organisation and have great interpersonal skills. Ideally you will have experience in social care or operational service delivery as well as significant demonstrable business development experience. You will be an expert in understanding the markets we work in, identifying product range and promotional marketing activity.
