PM Program Analyst

You'll be instrumental in managing the key milestones and deliverables that make this journey happen successfully. This vital work is structured around four critical pillars that define our approach.

  • Program Planning (Develop a winning product proposition and business case)
  • Program Control (Drive on time delivery)
  • Prototype, Launch & Plant Vehicle Teams (Support prototype builds, lead PD launch and Plant Vehicle Team processes)

In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that drive our vehicle programs forward, specifically within these key pillars:

Program Planning:

  • Develop and refine Vehicle Program Schedules based on evolving program needs.
  • Manage requirements for Export markets, including developing business cases and defining content for different regions.
  • Take full ownership of global Emissions requirements – ensuring our vehicles meet critical environmental standards worldwide.
  • Author essential Milestone papers that document program progress and decisions.
  • Lead complex cross-functional team discussions to align priorities and achieve the best balance between Cost and Quality.

Program Control:

  • Manage overall program timing and generate program health reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Lead key decision approval forums and program steering team meetings to facilitate crucial program decisions.
  • Maintain the sourcing workstream, tracking part and tool orders to support production needs.
  • Oversee complex Milestone deliverables: assigning tasks to owners, rigorously following up on execution, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Manage the financial aspects of programs, ensuring launches stay within target budgets.
  • Skillfully navigate complex discussions to find the optimal balance between Quality and Cost constraints.
  • Embrace Complexity: This position inherently involves managing the complexity of modern vehicles. You'll need to process multiple information inputs, act as a data-driven analyst, and identify opportunities for complexity reduction projects.

Program Launch:

  • Manage the change management process during the critical launch phase.
  • Lead the resolution of issues that arise directly at the assembly plant to ensure smooth production.
  • Support key prototype build processes.
  • Lead and facilitate Plant Vehicle Team processes.

Must Have Position Qualifications and Experiences:

Engineering discipline

5+ years of experience in Program Management

5+ years of experience within Design & Release workstreams, critical thinking and organizational skills

3+ years of experience with Purchasing Control, Cost Estimation or Finance

Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills

Must have ability to organize and prioritize tasks

Must have ability to work well with cross-functional teams and drive issues to closure

Must have ability to develop and articulate a POV in a highly collaborative working environment

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Engineering or Innovative Feature Development experience

Knowledge of Vehicle development milestones and deliverables

Strong resilience and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenging situations
