Senior Associate Scientist- Bioassay

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Senior Associate Scientist to join our Bioassay Team within the Therapeutic Proteins Department. In our highly collaborative team, you will play a critical role in establishing and implementing assays to identify potential oncology drug candidates.

As a Senior Associate Scientist in the Bioassay Team, a typical day might include:

  • Using techniques including mammalian (immortalized and primary) cell culture and cell engineering (lentiviral transduction and CRISPR gene editing).
  • Performing and developing engineered and primary cell-based bioassays with high-throughput capability
  • Performing cell staining and flow cytometry
  • Providing weekly presentations and updates
  • Keeping abreast of current/relevant literature in order to further develop scientific expertise and expand scientific/technical knowledge and skill sets
  • Maintain an electronic notebook in an accurate and timely manner

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS and 3+ years of relevant lab experience. A background in immunology and experience with T cell biology and antigen presentation is a plus. Experience with in vitro cell-based assay development and engineering mammalian cells is required. Additional lab techniques including Immunoblotting and Flow cytometry is strongly preferred.

Salary Range (annually)

$79,100.00 - $129,100.00
