What You’ll Do

Summary/Objective:

This position will work closely with the IT Security and Information Systems teams to configure analyze, and support security tools, network devices, servers, and related policies and procedures. They will be asked to be a liaison on projects and to interface with multiple levels of the organization. A successful IT Security Analyst will have a drive to learn, intelligently assess their environment of responsibility and the trends of the security and financial institution industries.

  • Lead small to medium sized Information Security projects and initiatives
  • Configure, review/analyze, support and evaluate security tools
  • Implement Cloud Security tools and configurations
  • Conduct security audits and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Configure and optimize server and desktop operating systems and enterprise patch management systems
  • Implement controls and configurations aligned with security policies and legal, regulatory and audit requirements
  • Participate in root cause analysis of critical events for improving preventative and reactive processes
  • Work with other business areas to explain security concepts, make recommendations, and help drive security initiatives
  • Mentor members of the team
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Security related certifications (Security+, GSEC, CEH, CISSP)
  • 5-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • 5-7 years of experience in information technology
  • Experience with CIS Critical Security Controls
  • Experience with managing Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
  • Familiarity with managing SIEM, IDS/IPS, Web filters, AV, and WAF solutions
  • Have a drive to learn new things, figure out how they work, figure out how to break and fix them
  • Good troubleshooting, problem solving, documentation and communication skillsKnowledge of common protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, LDAP, KERBEROS, RADIUS and FTP.
  • Experience and interest in automation
  • Networking experience, Firewall experience/configuration
  • Additional Eligibility Requirements:
    • Experience with NIST/FFIEC frameworks a plus
    • Experience with AWS, Azure, Splunk
    • Active in the information security community (conferences, groups, ect.)
