What will you do
You will be coaching the Software Development team on Scrum principles, help the team focus on sprint goals and to achieve their highest performance level, to ensure sprints/projects are successful. You’ll work with 2 (on average) specialized departments comprised of supervisors, managers, professionals, and/or large numbers of operational support employees/contractors.
- Monitor and improve the scrum process and project progress; helping solve impediments in the development process (Kanban, SAFe, Scrum…)
- Implement and maintain KPI, KPR and OKR frameworks to align product iteration and project outcomes with goals, enabling data-driven decisions that improve delivery efficiency performance visibility. Report findings to leadership team adhoc, monthly, quarterly…
- Define Objectives, identify Key Results (Before vs After)
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to promote agile practices
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies and ensure their effectiveness and value
- Identify and address impediments to agility
- Foster self-organization and collaborative with scrum team(s); sheltering the team from outside distractions to keep focus mainly on the agreed sprint goals
- Ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the development team and stakeholders; maximizing the performance of the team

What do you need to succeed
Must have:
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in Agile coaching (Coach, Enterprise Agile Coach, Sr Scrum Master…)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with team to define, track and interpret agile metrics. Establish and track OKRs, KPRs and KPIs. Track and consider velocity, lead/cycle time, burn up/down chart
- Minimum of year 1 year of hands-on experience supporting medium to high complex initiatives in a Big4, boutique consulting group or enterprise environment
- Experience conducting training workshops for members of agile teams as well as leadership of those teams
- Proven experience guiding multiple teams/programs simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial self-starter that takes initiative and drive results independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and develop actionable strategies
- Adept at conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to lead without autority
- Experience working with or at consulting firms such as one of the Big4, Accenture, McKinsey, BCG…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field (Master’s degree strongly preferred)
- One or more Agile Certifications – CAC, ACC, CSP-SM, CEC, SPC…
