Overall responsibility is for the development and management of both internal and external reporting of financial information. Focus can be on: Regulatory Reporting *Manage and direct the enterprise-wide SOX program to ensure that the design and operating effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting is in compliance with the SOX law and internal requirements. *Manage and supervise staff in their internal control reviews *Assess the internal control requirements for new financial products and systems. *Advise mangers on remediation actions and plans for SOX deficiencies. *Conduct informative SOX presentations and updates to executive management. Accounting/Internal Control *Provide oversight and leadership to ensure accurate and reliable multi-entity regulatory reporting. *Assist business units to estimate the regulatory impact on the proposed complex transactions. *Oversee the development of automated systems and reporting tolls that directly impact the regulatory reporting process. *Develop and maintain an effective and efficient overall regulatory reporting process. * 10-15 years experience in managerial accounting in financial sector. *Strong financial reporting knowledge required.
