The Product Governance and Disclosure Team is at the forefront of Vanguard Australia’s focus in maintaining the integrity of our Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs).

The role will be critical in maintaining and continually improving Vanguard Australia’s disclosure practices across Vanguard managed funds, ETFs, Superannuation and Investor Directed Portfolio Service (IDPS).

The Product Analyst – Disclosure will report to the Head of Product Governance and Disclosure. This varied role will involve working with stakeholders including product offer, legal and compliance in the management of compliant, clear, concise and effective PDSs for Vanguard Australia.

The Product Governance and Disclosure Team is at the forefront of Vanguard Australia’s focus in maintaining the integrity of our Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs).

The role will be critical in maintaining and continually improving Vanguard Australia’s disclosure practices across Vanguard managed funds, ETFs, Superannuation and Investor Directed Portfolio Service (IDPS).

The Product Analyst – Disclosure will report to the Head of Product Governance and Disclosure. This varied role will involve working with stakeholders including product offer, legal and compliance in the management of compliant, clear, concise and effective PDSs for Vanguard Australia.

What you will do

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of our disclosure policies and due diligence processes for Managed Funds/ETFs, Superannuation and IDPS, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Draft, review and verify regulatory disclosures for Vanguard’s ETFs, managed funds and superannuation products, and the IDPS platform, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Vanguard’s investment products, operations and processes to support effective disclosure.
  • Ensure that all disclosures meet relevant regulatory requirements and align with Vanguard’s internal policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Work closely with members of the Product Governance and Disclosure Team, collaborate with SMEs and develop strong relationships across the organisation (domestic, international, and VGI) to support better disclosure practices .
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills by managing multiple disclosure projects and deadlines concurrently.
  • Take accountability for the quality and timeliness of disclosures, applying sound judgment and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and quality of disclosure processes.
  • Undertake other disclosure related activities as required.

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Business or in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years related work experience across the funds management and/or superannuation industry, specifically in a product, legal or compliance function.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents and technical information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
