What to Expect in the Role:

• Coordinate with CEO, CFO, and KRI executives to pursue opportunities aligned with the KRI capital allocation plan.
• Conduct thorough due diligence of potential transactions and identify key risks.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective and ongoing opportunities.
• Recommend investments in key strategic partnerships.
• Monitor business trends/outlooks and gather competitive analysis to contribute to strategic business planning discussions.
• Identify and evaluate new industry segments for the company to pursue.
• Prepare formal company presentations for corporate development and investment-oriented meetings.
• Work with CEO, CFO, and division heads in identifying, negotiating, and maintaining business relationships with various growth and expansion opportunities.
• Assist corporate development team with seeking out opportunities to introduce KRI to the M&A market to build “top of mind” awareness of King Ranch as an investment partner within identified business segments.

What We Will Be Needing From You:

• Project management experience with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and financial skills.
• Heavy experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience in financial statement analysis.
• Familiarity with capital structure.
• Experience in conducting due diligence on potential M&A transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Highly organized, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to manage time sensitive tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• MBA is a positive.
• 2-4 years proven experience. Investment banking or private equity experience is ideal.
