Notre Dame Academy High School in West Los Angeles is seeking a passionate part-time dance teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success teaching high school dancers and professional dance experience.
Notre Dame Academy seeks a creative, organized, and experienced dance teacher who can work independently and collaboratively within the Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) department. Teach two or more dance classes, participate and help produce Fine Arts Night—a highly collaborative VPA performance and arts exhibition—and produce the Spring Dance Concert. The dance teacher may also collaborate with the drama department to choreograph the spring musical. Duties are negotiable depending on the candidate.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in dance, successful high school teaching experience, and professional dance experience. This individual must be innovative, dynamic, energetic, organized, flexible, and hard working, and he or she must embody a growth mindset. We seek faculty members who are intellectually curious, willing to grow professionally, student focused, dedicated to lifelong learning, and able to effectively collaborate with faculty, students, and parents to enhance our learning community.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
