General Responsibilities

Responsible for transporting raw materials (rolls), work in process(WIP) and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production, load and unload rolls from transport trucks

• Operate a pallet jack/hand truck about 80% of the time as you move work in progress loads from one department to another
• Move and stage finished loads from sheeting to their space in the plant
• Work with Printing on schedule and prepare loads for them to run
• Will sometimes load a stack of paper into aerator to prep for the printing presses
• Move and stage finished loads from printing to their space in the plant
• This role will drive a forktruck sometimes to move some product
• Provide a clean/safe working environment to themselves and employees in their work area.
• Keep department in specs within all 5S requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

• Ability to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes, or labels
• Ability to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order
• Ability to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directions
• Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures following established patterns
