Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager, Project Delivery-MedTech, to be located at any Puerto Rico MedTech facility.

The Sr. Project Manager, Project Delivery position at Johnson & Johnson offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the world of healthcare. This position entails the responsibility of overseeing and successfully carrying out larger and more intricate projects in the region. You will be leading the project team through all stages, from brainstorming to execution and evaluation. Your key focus will be on driving innovation, ensuring safety and quality, optimizing costs and timelines, and meeting regulatory obligations. As a Senior Project Manager, you will get the chance to work closely with different departments at Johnson & Johnson, including Real Estate and FM, EHS, ITS, and affiliate Engineering Groups. Developing strong relationships with important individuals and teams will play a vital role in your achievements in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take lead on projects at all stages, from ideation to assessment
  • Build collaboration across different functional areas with business partners
  • Build alignment with Sponsor, aligns Core and Extended team to deliver the Final Project Objectives
  • Manage project planning, tracking, and reporting against key deliverables
  • Establish key performance indicators and implement plans to meet and identify areas of improvement
  • Facilitate and lead the front-end loading activities to achieve a capital appropriation approval
  • Follow the Project Execution Plan methodology to achieve the desired business results
  • Develop risk management methodology to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives
  • Coordinate and lead project-related activities, including managing internal resources and third-party contractors
  • Lead all stages of the design process, ensuring implementation of design elements
  • Implement J&J standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate and coordinate the closeout of all the project activities ensuring operational handover, and provide feedback for continuous improvement

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering required

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of Project Management experience
  • Experience managing medium to large manufacturing related capital projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Experience managing portfolio of projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong understanding of project controls, budget management, and scheduling

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience in FDA or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with J&J Project Management approaches (FPX, IDEA, & Project Delivery Process)

Other:

  • This position may require up to 10% of domestic travel.
