Your Duties

Requirements

  • You will be responsible for the copy editing of mainly English marketing texts and product descriptions. You will ensure the use of standardized terminology and application of the linguistic Arthrex guidelines
  • You will proofread the translations from external language service providers, taking the company’s specific terminology and linguistic guidelines into account
  • You will create and edit marketing texts in close cooperation with Product Management, International Marketing Management and the Graphic Design team
  • It will be your responsibility to update and expand the Arthrex EMEA linguistic guidelines and to communicate these to employees in other departments
  • Within the scope of the Global Language Management Program (GLM), you will be involved in the implementation of global systematic language processes and the associated IT tools
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the team’s intranet presence and will act as the intranet key user for the team
  • You will conduct employee training sessions and offer advice and assistance on copywriting and language issues at Arthrex
  • You have successfully completed a degree or comparable training in the field of translation, linguistic sciences, as a copywriter, medical writer or similar, and already have professional experience
  • You can work on a professional level with the MS Office programs and, ideally, have experience with translation management and terminology management systems as well as authoring support tools
  • You boast outstanding communication skills and are able to grasp new concepts quickly
  • You are well organized and take an independent and proactive approach to work
  • Good and trust-based cooperation as part of a team is just as important to you as it is to us
  • Fluent English language skills as well as excellent written and spoken German and, ideally, other foreign language skills round off your skill set
