NeoGenomics is looking for a Project Specialist for our Flow department in Aliso Viejo, CA who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow.

Shift time: Monday-Friday, Days

Position Summary:

The Project Specialist will assist with the validation and implementation of new Flow laboratory projects.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, validation, and launch of new assays
  • Provide support to Flow management during various projects
  • Assist with and perform onsite validation processes
  • Contribute to the creation of validation plans, reports, SOPs, and other relevant documents
  • Support the launch of new validated assays and provide training to staff
  • Perform and oversee QC processes
  • Possess knowledge of CAP/CLIA requirements
  • Assist with external and internal proficiency testing, inter-instrument comparison, linearity, and carryover studies
  • Provide remote and onsite support to clients and staff as needed
  • Offer technical support for instrument and assay troubleshooting
  • Provide updates on project progress
  • Track and manage project progress
  • Independently perform more complex clinical tests following department procedures for wet lab work and analysis

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology or other related science required
  • 3 or more years of industry-related laboratory experience required with experience in Flow Cytometry, research, and validation is preferred
  • California CLS license or AACP is preferred
