Clarity Services, a part of Experian, is a credit bureau that provides reporting on near-prime, non-prime and subprime consumers. We are looking for a Business/Data Analyst in direct support of Clarity’s identity management overhaul. Strong attention to detail, data analysis, creative problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills are required. You must also demonstrate an ability to manage a variety of tasks within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and be solution-oriented while keeping tasks prioritized. The ability to raise issues before they turn into problems is critical. The ideal candidate also brings creative and strategic solutions to the table to help solve complex problems and is someone who acts as a change agent to evolve processes and challenge current thinking. This is a remote or in-office position.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these internally and to our clients.
  • Building standardized data files by reformatting source data when necessary.
  • Understand the analytic needs of identity resolution through interactions with internal product management and sales leaders, clients, and partners.
  • Support analytical projects from solution design and data integrity evaluation through solution development, documentation, implementation, and automation.
  • Develops dashboards and reports, leveraging data visualization and other tools.
  • Communicate with and deliver presentations to end users on analysis results.
  • Support the development of new analytical and data products and features, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings.
  • Evaluate new data sources identifying the most appropriate machine learning/deep learning/data mining/text mining techniques to uncover the value of the data.
  • Work interactively with a team of highly trained and skilled consultants, analysts, and project managers.
  • Efficiently manage his/her own project queue and develop streamlined workflows with cross-functional teams.

  • Be exceptionally proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced degree preferably in a related quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Economics). 
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in analytics field.
  • Advanced experience in data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Splunk (preferred), Tableau.
  • Strong experience of visual storytelling through data.
  • Advanced experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining to interpret data and solve business problems.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, solve problems, learn quickly, work independently, handle ambiguity, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Detail oriented individual that can work effectively in cross-functional teams.
