The Director of Food & Beverage oversees all F&B operations to provide an exceptional guest experience at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island. This role is responsible for strategic planning, financial management, and daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and execute F&B strategies aligned with Waldorf Astoria’s brand and guest expectations.
    • Analyze market trends to keep F&B offerings fresh, competitive, and in line with Seychelles’ luxury market.
  2. Operations Management
    • Oversee daily F&B operations to maintain service quality and regulatory compliance.
    • Partner with culinary teams to ensure efficient, memorable dining experiences.
  3. Financial Oversight
    • Manage budgets, control costs, and implement pricing and promotions to drive revenue.
    • Track financial performance to maximize profitability.
  4. Team Development
    • Recruit, train, and lead the F&B team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
    • Ensure high levels of staff engagement and performance.
  5. Guest Experience
    • Enhance guest satisfaction through innovative and culturally enriching F&B offerings.
    • Address guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years in F&B management with luxury hospitality experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, financial acumen, guest-focused mindset, and team management abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Hospitality or related field preferred.
