OUR TEAM

As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose.

YOUR ROLE:

A great opportunity has become available for a Supportability Manager to join our Protective Vehicles business. The Supportability Manager is responsible for service optimisation of the protected mobility fleet of Bushmaster and Hawkei vehicles. This includes planning, conduct and evaluation of supportability analyses to identify efficiencies and improvements in the PRV support system. The Supportability Manager will collaborate with various functions including maintenance, engineering, industry and program management to develop a performance measurement framework and identify sources of trusted data.

The Supportability Manager will take a strategic “Whole of Life” approach including consideration of total cost of ownership, maximising availability and simplifying the PRV support solution. The incumbent will deliver written reports, present their activities and findings to program leadership and the customer and will lead through example and education of program staff. Proactive, advanced organisation and communication skills will be essential to success in the role.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asset sustainment related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics support analysis.
• Minimum of 2 years in operations and supportability modelling.
• Experience in Performance Measurement Framework, Data Analytics and Preventive Maintenance Measures would be a huge bonus.
• Use of MS Office suite of programs with particular emphasis on Word and Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Use of SharePoint (or similar program), implementation and management
• Experience in capturing customer expectations and aligning the organisation to meet them (define customer-oriented key performance indicators, define associated actions and implement them).
• Effective people management and communication skills.

DESIRERABLE EXPERIENCE

• Project Management experience.
• Experience in ensuring customer's assets bring value to its core business: meeting of strategic and tactical objectives, risk mitigation, reliability of systems and products, optimization of cost of ownership.
• Ability to manage the maintenance of products, systems and equipment, to ensure their operation, reliability, longevity and safety, while minimizing the associated costs.
