Description

Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to appoint Senior Associate Project Manager to join our fast-growing team for our QLD operations.

The role will be responsible for project delivery, client relationship management, and technical leadership throughout ANZ. You will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, operational management, sales and technical leaders to create strategies, pursue opportunities and to plan, develop and deliver a range of projects to achieve successful technical and commercial outcomes.

You will support the management of the QLD Water Infrastructure Section and the wider ANZ water group in terms of team development, mentoring and growth, building technical capability and growing the water infrastructure portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally and nationally.

The Senior Associate Project Manager responsibilities will include:

Depending on discipline and experience your primary role will be as an associate water engineer (any relevant discipline). In this role

▪ Deliver technically excellent engineering designs and consultancy services. Carry out independently design/review/assurance on Projects.

▪ Assist with driving business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the win of the opportunities

▪ Bid preparation and submittals as required, support section leader, project managers in the delivery of financially successful projects.

▪ Develop and maintain strong key client relationships – act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients across the public and private sector.

▪ Keep abreast of new methods and developments impacting Jacobs in order to recommend change to current or new direction. Track and contribute to industry developments, ensuring

Jacobs is applying the latest technical developments.

▪ Collaborate closely with Jacobs’s client management team to identify emerging opportunities with clients

▪ Assist with and manage projects delivering on cost, on time, and resulting in client satisfaction. Provide design management functions on projects.

▪ Maintain compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process.

▪ Mentor and facilitate the technical development of more junior resources to meet market requirements.

▪ Promote safety culture within the organisation and with our clients.

You will lead the Project Delivery and Strategic Planning team within Jacobs QLD/NT Water Infrastructure section, reporting to the section leader. You will be responsible for the

career development, pastoral care, workload balancing and general leadership of the team. You will be a key member of the section leadership team and contribute to the strategic and operational

leadership of the section. You will be delegated to act as the section leader from time to time as required including to cover leave periods.
