Job Description

CW will be expected to hold site meetings at energized substations and expected to wear appropriate PPE

• This position is intended to manage and execute multiple Project Programs, including Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.
• This position will require execution of many White I and White projects of similar scope as part of an overall program with the occasional larger Green I projects.
• The White projects are generally quicker paced, with the majority being started and completed in under a year.
• The ability to adjust project priorities and quickly adapt to changes is crucial. Meetings in person and on site with appropriate PPE will be expected as required for engineering review/Pre-construction on a per-project basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Proficient in project management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters - business (MBA), project management, or equivalent.
• Utility Technical Certifications/Training;
• PMP or CAPM Certification;
• CMII/Construction Certifications;
• Professional Engineer License.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
• Experience in utility industry.
• Knowledge in construction management.
• Flexibility in working many smaller projects concurrently.

The Project Manager will need to have and develop relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
