Citizens is seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst II/III to join the Communications sector team. In this role you will support senior bankers with a focus on originating and executing capital markets and strategic advisory transactions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for you to join a rapidly growing investment banking platform with market leading positions in middle market corporate and sponsor backed transactions complemented by strong public equity research. As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will participate in all steps of the transaction life cycle, from origination through closing. You will thrive in this role through your ability to work on multiple projects and transactions concurrently. You will play a critical role in originating new opportunities and coordinating projects, and will interact directly with Managing Directors, senior management, other product groups within Citizens, as well as with corporate and private equity clients. You will be expected to work under limited supervision, supporting industry aligned client coverage efforts and working closely with senior professionals in Debt Capital Markets, Leverage Finance, Sponsor Coverage, and M&A teams to originate and successfully execute a wide variety of transactions, including loan syndications, acquisition finance, high yield bonds, convertibles, and M&A. You will also have the opportunity to supervise and develop junior analysts.
