The Product Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating new product introductions, plus management and optimization of the product portfolio. This mid-level position involves overseeing complex aspects of product leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring successful integration and launch of new products, analyzing product performance, understanding market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet customer needs and business objectives. The role requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, project management skills, customer-market analysis, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
NPI Support: Provide support during the new product introduction process, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring products are integrated smoothly into existing systems and processes.
Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical resource for new products, offering knowledge and support to internal teams and customers. Address and resolve escalated technical issues and product-related inquiries.
Documentation Management: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for new products, including technical specifications, support manuals, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Training and Development: Support the design and deliver of training programs and materials for internal teams, including customer support and sales staff. Ensure that all stakeholders are well-equipped with knowledge about new products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product introduction processes. Facilitate communication and coordination to address any issues or challenges that arise.
Product Testing and Validation: Support product testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards. Report any issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement solutions.
Market and Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from customers and market sources regarding new products. Use insights to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential issues during the NPI phase. Develop and implement strategies to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of new product introductions, including performance metrics, challenges, and recommendations. Provide insights to improve processes and outcomes.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on product performance metrics such as sales, profitability, and market share. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
Portfolio Management: Assist in managing the product portfolio, including tracking performance metrics, analyzing product lifecycle stages, and making recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
Project Management: Support product launch projects by coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring cross-functional team alignment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including product data sheets, marketing materials, and competitive analysis reports.
