We are seeking a highly motivated Part Time - Commis Chef to join our welcoming team providing the highest quality food for our guests at our Adelaide Domestic Lounges in our brand new production kitchen launching in mid-July!

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Commis Chef to join our team and provide efficient, friendly and professional food to all of our lounge guests. We have an opportunity available in our al la carte & buffet environments and brand new production kitchen!

All of our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for providing the highest quality of food.

• Trade qualification in Cookery and experience in a similar role
• Detail-focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure
• Experience & knowledge of mass production and large volumes of food
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods and techniques
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
• Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen
• Experience and knowledge working in mass production and large volumes
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• MUST have full working rights within Australia
• Ability to pass a federal police background security check
• The ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
