CONTEXT OF THE POSITION:

This position aims to serve the production process of fuselage equipping A320/A321/bring manufacturing engineering profession value to Airbus fuselage equipping production in China.

We recruit all diverse profiles

ACCOUNTABILITY:

The job holder is accountable for:

1. Technical analyze and support folio points (S0x, S99, NC, DQN, GTI, Concession),

2. Coordinate and steer folio point between FO/BO/Suppliers for best suitable technical solution,

3. Production support on all other topics.

Main activities:

  • Analyze and support all of folio points (Structure, Electrical, Mechanical): SOX, S99, NC, DQN, Concession and gather work-orders which have to be applied at every fuselage equipping stage.
  • Steer enabled work orders into Front Office and/or XAT production and support FIP enablement and handover to production
  • Support Shop floor for any technical issues and drumbeat/coordinate all actions with Airbus Front and Back Office support functions (ME, PET, Logistics, Suppliers, Quality, etc...) Create NC Folio points and associated declarative document for needed NC detected and apply technical decision as per responsible statement
  • Provide all necessary information to request DQNS and concessions (declarative document issuance).
  • Create and/or update repair/rework WO IAW responsible decisions, launch appropriate SOX covering assistance request, FW Concession, special instruction reworks, special parts manufacturing
  • Order secondary flow Free Issue Parts into SAP system
  • Create mapping document for NDT request for NC created by ME
  • Prepare and support daily Front Office meetings
  • Provide justification and action plan for any items not done according to planning
  • Drumbeat progress of NCs rectification
  • Perform technical analysis on A/C, in the DMU and in the system
  • Push and Steer the overall activities/workflows to ensure final zone closure.
  • All activities to be performed in accordance to existing FOD rules

This position may work in early or late shifts.

QUALIFICATION:

  • EDUCATION: with bachelor's degree, in engineering major. Aeronautics education is a plus
  • EXPERIENCE: >5 year experience in aviation industry
  • LANGUAGE: fluent English both in written and speaking. French and German is a plus
  • KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Manufacture engineering Experience on Non-conformity/concession during equipping activity. Familiar with fuselage structure. System installation knowledge. Familiar with aircraft drawing set/configuration. Aircraft processes & tools such as SAP, ACPNG, @AirNav, PPS, PPV, PFEMA.
  • ABILITIES:
    • Customer minded with good communication.
    • Proven leadership experience and the ability to deal with various departments, white collars and blue collars.
    • Strong time management skills, being able to work independently. Troubleshooting abilities.
