Resource Planner - Operations Business Management - Associate

We are seeking someone to join our team as an Resource Planner in Glasgow Operations to support workforce management transactions and reporting and working with senior business management stakeholders and various business and headcount processes.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the Glasgow.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
  • Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
  • Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
  • Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
  • Effectively coordinate with management to ensure resource transactions are approved in line with policies
  • Process resource transactions in a timely fashion, according to the daily, weekly and monthly cycles- Support various headcount processes by liaising with hiring managers, HR, and vendors as required to ensure projections are accurate
  • Actively manage controls and approval processes around recruiting/onboarding of positions in alignment with headcount and labor spend targets
  • Work closely with project portfolio team to translate project demand into systems while managing against workforce strategy constraints
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained in different systems of record by addressing data exceptions
  • Partner with technology to work implement efficiency/process enhancements

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
  • Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience would generally be expected related to the skills required for this role
